Ramadan Creamed Spinach

2  cups milk
1  tablespoon flour 
4  tablespoons butter or margarine 
1/2  teaspoon garlic salt 
 salt and pepper  
2 packages frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained 
1  small onion, diced 

1. In a saucepan, on medium heat, whisk together flour, butter, garlic salt,and salt and pepper until smooth and pipping hot.
2. Slowly add milk until slightly thick. Then add spinach and onion, stir till combined.
