kids Sweet potato and carrot stew

2 sweet potatoes peeled
2 large carrots peeled
½ -1 onion
1 tomato

1/3 cup of red lentils
2 teaspoons dill
½ cup chicken broth
½ cup water
Dash of pepper
Dash of salt
1 teaspoon butter or oil

1.Finely chop the sweet potatoes, carrots, onion, and tomato.
2.Wash and drain the lentils.
3.In a pot heat the butter, add the vegetables and fry on low heat for about 5 min. stir occasionally. 4.Add the water and chicken broth season with salt and pepper and let it simmer until tender. Add some dill shortly before removing from heat.
