Potatoes au Gratin By: Heidushka

5-6 Medium size potatoes
3 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 cup milk
and more.....

5-6 Medium size potatoes
3 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 cup milk
1/2 cup whipping cream
Salt & Black Peffer
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3 tablespoons of butter

1. Preheat the oven
2.Peel the potatoes then cut them into slices. Fry them slighly in 1 tablespoon of butter 3. Add the chopped garlic and slighly continue frying. ( don't let the potatoes become brown!!) 4.Add Milk , let it boil
5. Add cream
6. season with pepper ,salt and nutmeg.
7. add the 2 tablespoons of butter
8. put the pan into the oven, and let the potatoes cook until tender and a brownish (appprox. 15 min on meadium heat) tipp : you can add cheddar or parmesan cheese on top of the gratin
