Another problem you may come across when using Pumpkin recipes, is that they always tend to call for CANNED PUMPKIN. Well there is a simple solution to that. I know you don’t always have canned pumpkin on hand. So what! Fresh pumpkin usually makes any recipe taste better anyways. It’s pretty easy to make your own “canned pumpkin” so when you find a recipe that calls for canned pumpkin, use my make your own canned pumpkin recipe.

Follow these simple 6 steps!
1. Clean Pumpkin well
2. Slice the pumpkin in half and clean it out from any seeds.
3. Then bake for about 1-2 hours at 200C, until soft.
4. Remove from oven when soft (do a fork test). Let cool.
5, Scoop the flesh out of the skin.
6. Place in food processor
7. Voila canned pumpkin!
